Alpha-H Serums & Oils

Serums and face oils for every skin type and skin need

Since 1995, Alpha-H has been known for results-driven skincare with clinically supported concentrations. The serums and face oils in this collection are among the brand’s best-selling products and focus on targeted skincare: from cell renewal and brightening to hydration, barrier repair, and sun protection.

A serum is the step in any routine where active ingredients are applied to the skin in higher concentrations. The right choice depends on skin type and goal: those working on pigmentation choose differently than those wanting to strengthen the skin barrier or reduce fine lines. In this collection, you’ll find a suitable product for every skin concern, supported by detailed ingredient information for each serum.

Why choose an Alpha-H serum?

Alpha-H formulas are developed in Australia and combine clinically researched active ingredients with native botanicals such as Tasman Pepper and macadamia oil. The concentrations on the packaging, like 0.5% retinol, 5% niacinamide, or 10% Ethyl Ascorbic Acid, are transparently communicated and scientifically supported. Each serum targets one specific skin goal, allowing you to build a routine that exactly matches what your skin needs. Vegan, cruelty-free, and largely safe to use during pregnancy and breastfeeding.

Find your ideal serum

For skin renewal and fine lines: The Alpha-H Vitamin A Serum with 0.5% Retinol is an entry-level retinol for the evening routine. For advanced users, the Alpha-H Midnight Reboot Serum combines 14% glycolic acid with 1% Granactive Retinoid in one evening treatment.

For barrier repair and sensitive skin: The Alpha-H Vitamin B Serum with 5% Niacinamide strengthens the skin barrier and evens skin tone. For very sensitive or sensitized skin, the Alpha-H Vitamin E Serum with 1% Ceramide Complex provides immediate calm and repair.

For brightening and pigmentation spots: The Alpha-H Vitamin C Serum with 10% Ethyl Ascorbic Acid uses a stable vitamin C variant that does not oxidize and reduces pigmentation without irritation.

For deep hydration: The Alpha-H Hyaluronic 8 Super Serum combines eight hydrating actives and increases hydration immediately by 30%. For those who prefer to work with an oil, the Alpha-H Golden Haze Face Oil is a blend of nine botanical oils that strengthens the skin barrier.

For expression lines and anti-aging without retinol: The Alpha-H Multi-Peptide Revitalise Serum targets fine lines and is safe to use during pregnancy and breastfeeding.

For daily sun protection: The Alpha-H Dawn To Dusk SPF 50+ Serum combines broad-spectrum UV filters with niacinamide and vitamin E.

Not sure which serum fits? The Alpha-H Vitamin Discovery Kit with 4x 10ml offers the four signature vitamin serums in travel size and is an ideal introduction.

How do you use a serum in your routine?

1. Thoroughly cleanse the face morning and evening with a suitable cleanser
2. Apply water-soluble serums first and oil-soluble serums afterwards, in order from thin to thick texture
3. Preferably use the Vitamin C Serum or Vitamin B Serum in the morning for antioxidant protection and hydration
4. Use the Vitamin A Serum or Midnight Reboot Serum in the evening for skin renewal and alternate with the Vitamin E Serum on rest days
5. Optionally finish the evening routine with the Golden Haze Face Oil to lock in the active ingredients
6. Always finish the morning routine with the Dawn To Dusk SPF 50+ Serum as the last step

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I use multiple Alpha-H serums in one routine?

Yes, Alpha-H is deliberately designed as a layerable system. Follow the rule water-first, oil-second and apply serums in order from thin to thick texture. Do not combine vitamin C with retinol in the same routine: use vitamin C in the morning and retinol in the evening.

Which Alpha-H serums are safe during pregnancy?

Safe options are the Vitamin B Serum, Vitamin C Serum, Vitamin E Serum, Hyaluronic 8 Super Serum, Multi-Peptide Revitalise Serum, and the Dawn To Dusk SPF 50+ Serum. The Vitamin A Serum and Midnight Reboot Serum contain retinol/retinoid and are not recommended during this period.

What is the difference between a serum and a face oil?

A serum is usually water-based and delivers active ingredients in a light, fast-absorbing texture. A face oil like the Golden Haze Face Oil is lipid-based, nourishes the skin barrier, and locks in moisture. Both can be combined: serum first, oil as the final step.

When will I see results from an Alpha-H serum?

Hydrating serums like the Hyaluronic 8 Super Serum provide immediately visible results. For brightening with vitamin C, expect eight to twelve weeks of consistent use. Retinol requires at least three months for visible anti-aging results. Clinical trials of the Multi-Peptide Revitalise Serum show visibly fewer wrinkles after six weeks.
