Lycogel Breathable Tint

Breathable glow tint in 6 colors for radiant skin

Lycogel Breathable Tint is a light, illuminating foundation developed for those who want to enhance the natural appearance of the skin rather than cover it. The six colors in the line cover the full spectrum from fair skin to dark skin, with a luminous finish that gives the skin a healthy glow. While Lycogel Breathable Camouflage focuses on full buildable coverage with a matte finish, the Tint offers a daily solution for those who want to look without heavy makeup.

The Tint is intended for those who combine makeup with skincare. The skin continues to breathe under the tint, receives active nutrients, and maintains its vitality throughout the day. This makes the line suitable for daily use on almost any skin type — from sensitive fair skin with couperose to dark skin with hyperpigmentation.

Why choose Lycogel Breathable Tint?

Lycogel Breathable Tint stands out from traditional foundations and BB creams in three ways. The Designer Gel Base is an oxygen-permeable matrix that allows the skin to breathe from the moment of application. While regular foundations form an occlusive layer on the skin, this technology adheres to the skin in a breathable way — pores remain open, sebum production proceeds naturally, and the skin does not become exhausted under the tint.

Additionally, each color contains the LYCO-Complex: a combination of plant-based oxygen, hyaluronic acid in three molecular weights, and post-biotic nourishment. The skin receives three essential needs under the tint instead of just being covered. Finally, the formula does not oxidize — the color applied in the morning remains the same all day, even on an oily T-zone or in warm weather conditions. This solves a common problem that both light and dark skin often experience with foundations.

Find your ideal color

The six colors in the Lycogel Breathable Tint line are arranged in a natural gradient from light to dark, with each number representing the next phase in the color spectrum.

For fair skin, two shades are available. Lycogel Breathable Tint Nr. 0.5 is the lightest shade and is intended for very pale porcelain skin that tends to look orange in regular foundations. Lycogel Breathable Tint Nr. 1 is half a shade deeper and fits fair skin with a more balanced neutral undertone — for many the logical starter color.

For light skin, there is one central shade. Lycogel Breathable Tint Nr. 2 is the most requested color within the Tint line and fits the widest group of Western European skin types with a light complexion and neutral undertone.

For medium skin, Lycogel Breathable Tint Nr. 3 was developed as a versatile color that follows the natural warmth of a medium complexion without shifting toward yellow or orange. A good choice for olive and tinted European skin types.

For tanned to dark skin, two deeper colors are available. Lycogel Breathable Tint Nr. 4 is the transitional shade between tanned and dark skin and fits the lighter end of the dark category. Lycogel Breathable Tint Nr. 5 is the deepest color in the line and is specifically formulated for dark skin, with rich pigment depth without a dull appearance.

Suitable for which skin types and needs?

Lycogel Breathable Tint was deliberately developed as an alternative for those who find full foundation too heavy but want a refined look. Sensitive skin benefits from the breathable structure that does not cause occlusion — especially valuable for couperose, rosacea, or skin that reacts quickly to cosmetics. Acne-prone skin finds coverage in the Tint that does not clog pores, allowing natural skin renewal to continue.

For mature skin, the luminous finish is a solution — fine lines are not accentuated as with matte foundations, and the triple hyaluronic acid formula keeps the skin supple throughout the day. On dark skin, the Tint solves the ashy-gray effect that many regular foundations show, while preserving the skin’s natural glow. For those seeking both coverage and skin-improving effects, this is a thoughtful combination in one tube.

How to use Lycogel Breathable Tint?

The Tint is easy for daily use and requires less application time than a full foundation. Always start with clean and hydrated skin for the smoothest final results.

1. Cleanse the face and apply serum and moisturizer
2. Place a small amount of Tint on clean fingertips
3. Evenly distribute the product over the face and neck for a seamless transition
4. Reapply during the day if desired for extra glow on specific areas
5. Always use sun protection as the last step in the morning

At the end of the day, thorough removal is essential to optimally prepare the skin for the evening routine. The Lycogel Remover Pads were developed as the perfect counterpart to both the Tint and Camouflage formulas, fully lifting pigments and film formers from the skin in combination with your regular cleanser.

Frequently Asked Questions

Which tint should I choose if I’m unsure between two numbers?

The tints are designed to blend with each other, making it easy to resolve uncertainty between two numbers. When in doubt, you generally choose the lighter of the two options for the winter months and the deeper one for summer. For the most common Western European skin types, Nr. 1 (fair) and Nr. 2 (light) are the most chosen starter colors.

What is the difference between Lycogel Breathable Tint and Lycogel Breathable Camouflage?

The Tint offers light, illuminating coverage with a luminous glow finish, while the Camouflage provides full buildable coverage with a matte finish. The Tint is suitable for daily use and a natural look, the Camouflage for those who want to fully cover pigmentation spots, melasma, couperose, or rosacea. Both lines can be combined — Tint as a base layer, Camouflage targeted on problem areas.

Does the Tint oxidize during the day, as some other foundations do?

No. Thanks to the Designer Gel Base, the formula does not react to sebum or oxygen like traditional foundations do. The color you apply in the morning remains the same all day, even on an oily T-zone or in warm weather conditions — an important advantage for both light and dark skin.

How long does a 30ml tube last?

With daily use, a 30ml tube lasts on average four to six months, depending on the amount used per application. Because the Tint offers light coverage, less product is needed per application than with a full foundation.
