Cosmedix Eye & Lip Care

Eye and lip care for the most sensitive skin areas

The skin around the eyes and on the lips is the most vulnerable on the entire face. Up to ten times thinner than the rest, with hardly any sebaceous glands and a natural barrier that weakens over time, these areas are the first to show signs of fatigue, dryness, and aging. Fine lines, puffiness, dark circles, and loss of definition require targeted care — not an ordinary face cream that is not tailored to the physiology of these zones.

The Cosmedix eye & lip care collection offers targeted formulas for precisely these needs: eye serums with Liquid Crystal Technology, a daytime eye treatment with bakuchiol, a highly concentrated retinol eye treatment, a plumping lip mask, and the tools to apply everything hygienically and effectively. Below you will find the right choice for each need and time of day.

Why choose targeted eye and lip care?

The eye contour and lips require formulas tailored to their unique physiology. An ordinary face cream is often too heavy for the thin skin around the eyes or contains ingredients that irritate the sensitive area. Cosmedix develops separate formulas for these zones with targeted active ingredients: Liquid Crystal Technology for long-lasting hydration, caffeine against puffiness, peptides against fine lines, and bakuchiol as a gentle retinol alternative for the delicate eye contour.

In addition, application plays a bigger role than for the rest of the face. A cool, hygienic applicator significantly enhances the effect of an eye serum — through the anti-swelling effect of coolness and stimulation of natural lymphatic drainage. Therefore, the collection also includes the tools that make a difference.

Find your ideal eye or lip care

For puffiness and dark circles: The Cosmedix Eye Genius Brilliant Eye Complex targets tired, dull eye contours and helps reduce puffiness and dark circles. The Cosmedix Elite I-Complex Advanced Eye Gel is a daytime eye serum with caffeine and a cool metal rollerball that directly tackles puffiness — safe for morning use and during pregnancy.

For fine lines and anti-aging around the eyes: The Cosmedix Opti Crystal Liquid Crystal Eye Serum intensely hydrates with Liquid Crystal Technology and protects with antioxidants — suitable for daily use. For the most concentrated effect, the Cosmedix Elite Eye Doctor High Potency Eye Treatment is a premium eye serum with 0.07% retinol and concentrated Liquid Crystal Technology, targeting crow’s feet and thin, damaged eye contours.

For the lips: The Cosmedix Enhance Lip-Plumping Mask cares for and firms the lips with a plumping effect. The Cosmedix Lumi Crystal Liquid Crystal Lip Hydrator hydrates with the same Liquid Crystal Technology as the eye serums and gives a glassy glow, worn solo or over lipstick.

For the right application: The Cosmedix Precision Eye Applicator is a metal applicator with a cooling effect that reduces puffiness, stimulates lymphatic drainage, and applies eye serums evenly and hygienically.

1. Thoroughly cleanse the face as the first step of your routine
2. Optionally apply a toner or hydrating mist and let it absorb
3. Work in your face serum and let it fully absorb
4. Dispense a pea-sized drop of eye serum — during the day the Cosmedix Elite I-Complex or Cosmedix Eye Genius, in the evening the Cosmedix Opti Crystal or Cosmedix Elite Eye Doctor
5. Apply the eye serum with the Cosmedix Precision Eye Applicator in gentle movements from the inner to the outer corner of the eye
6. Care for the lips with the Cosmedix Lumi Crystal Lip Hydrator during the day, or the Cosmedix Enhance Lip-Plumping Mask as an intensive treatment in the evening
7. Follow with your moisturizer and always finish with sun protection in the morning

Frequently Asked Questions

When should I start using eye care?

There is no fixed age, but the eye contour is the first to show signs of fatigue and aging — often around the age of thirty, sometimes earlier for those who work a lot behind screens or sleep poorly. Preventive use of a hydrating eye serum like Opti Crystal can start early; for those who already see fine lines or puffiness, more targeted formulas like Eye Doctor or I-Complex are the right choice.

What is the difference between a daytime and nighttime eye serum?

Daytime eye serums like I-Complex and Eye Genius focus on immediate refreshment, puffiness, and protection — often with caffeine and antioxidants, without ingredients that make the skin sensitive to UV. Nighttime eye serums like Opti Crystal and Eye Doctor focus on repair and anti-aging, sometimes with retinol that works optimally at night. For maximum results, many users combine a day and a night product.

Do I really need a separate applicator for eye serum?

Not strictly necessary, but for those who suffer from puffiness or swelling, a cool applicator like the Precision Eye Applicator provides a noticeable benefit. The cool metal immediately reduces swelling — something warm fingers cannot do — and the applicator is more hygienic because there is no direct finger contact with the sensitive eye area. Additionally, it prevents product waste, which makes a tangible difference with concentrated eye serums.

Can I use my regular face cream around the eyes?

You can, but it is not ideal. The skin around the eyes is thinner and more sensitive, and face creams are often too heavy or contain ingredients that irritate the eye area. A targeted eye serum is tailored to this physiology and delivers better results for the specific concerns of this zone — puffiness, dark circles, and crow’s feet.

Which lip product should I choose: Lumi Crystal or Enhance?

Lumi Crystal is a daily lip hydrator with a glassy glow effect, to be worn solo or over lipstick — ideal for daily hydration and finishing. Enhance is a more intensive plumping mask that cares for and firms the lips, often used as an evening treatment. Many users combine both: Lumi Crystal during the day, Enhance as intensive care at night.
