Alpha-H Moisturisers

Hydrating day creams and night creams for every skin type

A moisturizer is more than the final step in a routine — it is the product that determines how well all previous skincare steps can do their job. A well-chosen day cream or night cream locks in moisture, strengthens the skin barrier, and ensures that active ingredients from serums can work optimally. For those seeking quality in clinical skincare with visible results, Alpha-H offers a refined range of moisturizers tailored to different skin types and life stages.

Whether your skin needs gentler exfoliation at night, intense hydration for dehydration, soothing for redness, or structural barrier repair for mature skin: in this collection, you will find the Alpha-H cream that suits your skin’s needs. Including two SPF50 variants for essential daily protection.

Why choose an Alpha-H moisturizer?

Alpha-H is known as a pioneer in clinical skincare from Australia, with over 30 years of expertise in formulas that combine hydration with targeted active ingredients. Each moisturizer in the line is thoughtfully designed around a specific skin goal — exfoliation at night, long-lasting hydration up to five days, soothing redness, broad-spectrum UV protection, or barrier repair with collagen amino acids. The formulas are cruelty-free, vegan, safe during pregnancy and breastfeeding, and formulated without unnecessary fillers.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the difference between a day cream and a night cream?

A day cream focuses on hydration, protection against environmental factors, and often has a lighter texture that works well under makeup. A night cream is usually richer and contains active ingredients such as AHAs, peptides, or collagen amino acids that support the skin during its natural repair process while sleeping.

Can I use the same Alpha-H moisturizer in the morning and evening?

Some Alpha-H creams like the High Tide Water Cream and Essential Hydration Cream are suitable for both AM and PM use. Products with exfoliating AHAs such as the After Hours AHA Moisturiser are applied only in the evening due to the skin’s increased sensitivity to UV radiation after exfoliation.

Do I need an SPF if my day cream does not contain SPF?

Yes. When your day cream does not contain broad-spectrum sun protection, a separate SPF is essential as the final step. UV radiation is responsible for about 80% of visible skin aging, so daily protection is the most important anti-aging step in any routine.

Which Alpha-H moisturizer suits sensitive skin that reacts quickly with redness?

The Essential Hydration Cream is specifically developed for skin prone to redness and irritation, thanks to the anti-redness complex and red algae extract. The Firming Collagen Repair Cream is also suitable due to the presence of soothing Centella Asiatica and provitamin B5.
