Massada Oily & Acne Skin Care

Skincare for oily and acne-prone skin by Massada

The Massada Oily & Acne Skin Care line is a complete care routine for those who deal daily with excessive sebum production, blackheads, pimples, and visibly enlarged pores. The products combine plant-based active ingredients such as Tea Tree, Niaouli, Green Tea, and Arnica with cosmeceutical ingredients like natural Salicylic Acid, Niacinamide, and encapsulated Zinc PCA.

Oily and acne-prone skin has a paradoxical need: cleansing and bacteria control without damaging the skin barrier. Products that are too aggressive dry out the skin and actually stimulate the sebaceous glands to produce more oil. The Massada line is deliberately designed to maintain that balance — deep cleansing, sebum regulation, and inflammation reduction while keeping the skin balanced.

Why choose Massada for oily and acne-prone skin?

Massada combines plant-based phytotherapy with modern biotechnology. The formulas are rich in essential oils that work naturally antibacterial, supplemented with proven ingredients like Salicylic Acid and Niacinamide. What sets the line apart is the thoughtful structure: each product has its own role in the routine, with effects that reinforce each other without overloading the skin. The Spanish formulas respect the skin barrier in a way that is often missing in more aggressive acne lines.

For oily skin with excessive sebum production, the Hydrothermal Balancing Cream Oily Skin forms the basis of the routine, optionally complemented by the Green Tea Extract for extra sebum regulation.

For active acne and post-acne spots, the Blemish Control Formula is the targeted treatment. It addresses bacteria, sebum, inflammation, and pigmentation spots all at once.

For sensitive, irritated, or inflamed skin with redness, couperose, or rosacea alongside impurities, the Arnica Extract is a valuable addition due to its calming and wound-healing properties.

For enlarged pores and urban pollution, the Facial Mask Oily Skin and the Invisible Pores Skin Refiner Bio Facial Mask provide weekly intensive enhancement to the routine.

How to use the Massada Oily & Acne Skin Care routine?

1. Cleanse the face morning and evening with the Oily Skin Cleansing Milk to gently remove sebum, impurities, and makeup
2. Apply the Oily Skin Tonic to restore the acid mantle and prepare the skin for the next steps
3. Drop a small amount of Green Tea Extract or Arnica Extract onto the skin — choose Green Tea for sebum regulation or Arnica for inflamed spots
4. Gently massage the Blemish Control Formula over the face or directly on pimples for a complete treatment
5. Finish with the Hydrothermal Balancing Cream Oily Skin for hydration without a greasy feel
6. Always finish with sun protection as the last step in the morning
7. Use the Facial Mask Oily Skin once a week for a deep clay cleanse, or the Invisible Pores Skin Refiner Bio Facial Mask for an intensive second-skin treatment against enlarged pores once or twice a week. Do not combine them on the same day.

Frequently Asked Questions

Which Massada product is suitable to start with for acne?

Always start with the basics: the Oily Skin Cleansing Milk and the Oily Skin Tonic form the foundation of the routine. Then add the Blemish Control Formula as a targeted treatment. Build further with the Hydrothermal Balancing Cream and optionally the boosters.

Can I use the Green Tea Extract and Arnica Extract together?

Yes, these boosters are complementary. For example, use the Green Tea Extract in the morning for sebum regulation and the Arnica Extract in the evening to calm inflamed spots. Both are applied to cleansed and toned skin.

How often should I use the masks in this line?

The Facial Mask Oily Skin is a weekly clay mask for deep cleansing. The Invisible Pores Skin Refiner Bio Facial Mask is a more intensive second-skin treatment that can be used once or twice a week. Do not combine them on the same day.

Is this line also suitable for hormonal acne in adults?

Yes. The combination of Niacinamide and Zinc PCA in the Blemish Control Formula, along with the sebum-regulating effect of the other products, is especially suitable for adult acne and hormonal breakouts around the jawline.
