Dr Schrammek Regulating

Care line for impure, oily, and combination skin

Skin with impurities, blackheads, enlarged pores, or a shiny T-zone requires a thoughtful approach. No single product solves the causes — it is the right combination of cleansing, exfoliation, and targeted care that makes the difference. The Regulating line from Dr Schrammek is developed exactly for this: a complete routine for impure skin at any age, from teenage skin to adult problem skin and everything in between.

What distinguishes the Regulating line is the combination of patented dermatological actives with skin-friendly care. Microsilver, Sebuless®, bioactive glass powder, and licorice root extract address the cause of impurities, while panthenol, allantoin, and bisabolol keep the skin barrier intact. The result is visibly clearer, mattified skin without the drying effect that classic acne products often leave behind. The line is developed by dermatologists and is used worldwide by professional skin therapists — a reliable choice for those who want to work structurally on impure skin.

Why choose the Dr Schrammek Regulating line?

• Complete routine from cleansing to care in one coherent product line

• Hydrates the skin where needed, so sebum production is not unnecessarily stimulated
• Contains the iconic Blemish Balm — the original BB cream since 1967
• Suitable for younger problem skin and adults with persistent impurities
• Free from parabens, mineral oils, and colorants, suitable for vegans

Step by step through the Regulating routine

Step 1: Cleanse A thorough cleansing is the foundation. For skin with persistent impurities, ideally combine two cleansers — morning and evening — to completely remove sebum, dirt, and makeup. The Pure Skin Cleansing Foam 100ml is a mild cleansing foam with bamboo and white water lily, ideal for those who like the fresh feeling of a foam cleanser. For those who prefer a richer cleansing milk, the Deep Pore Cleanser 200ml offers a milder oil base with calendula and witch hazel, also available in a handy travel size as the Deep Pore Cleanser 50ml travelsize for on the go.

Step 2: Tone After cleansing, a toner balances the skin and prepares it for the next steps. The Clearing Face Tonic 200ml is an intensive toner with niacinamide, succinic acid, and natural AHAs that mattifies the skin, fades post-inflammatory pigmentation spots, and refines pores without drying out.

Step 3: Additional treatment For deeper cleansing or stubborn blackheads, add a treatment gel. The Gel Super Purifiant 50ml is a refining leave-on gel with witch hazel, peppermint oil, and camphor that you leave on for 2-3 minutes for visibly finer pores.

Step 4: Exfoliate Weekly exfoliation prevents clogged pores. The Enzyme Regulating Cream & Peeling 75ml is a versatile 2-in-1 product that serves as a daily cream and weekly enzymatic peel — suitable for those who cannot tolerate stronger acids. For a deeper weekly cleanse, the Black Clearing Mask 75ml with bamboo charcoal draws out dirt and sebum from the pores.

Step 5: Daily care The right day cream regulates sebum without drying out the skin. The Special Regulating Cream 50ml is a mattifying day and night cream with Seboclear® and bioactive glass powder, also available as a Special Regulating Cream 15ml travelsize for introduction or travel. For younger skin with active acne, the light Clear Skin Silver Fluid 50ml with Microsilver offers targeted antibacterial action. For mature skin with persistent impurities, the Purifying Vital Balm 50ml with resveratrol and plankton extract is the right choice — anti-aging and anti-impurities in one.

Step 6: Intensive treatment for flare-ups For suddenly flaring skin or an important occasion, the Impurity Control Ampul 7x 2ml offers a concentrated 7-day treatment with Acnacidol™, salicylic acid, and niacinamide for visible results within one week.

Step 7: The original Blemish Balm — care and camouflage The Blemish Balm from 1967 is the basis for what later became the worldwide BB cream trend. This iconic balm covers impurities, soothes redness, and actively cares — all in one product. Available in various shades to suit every skin type. For warm, golden skin tones, choose the Blemish Balm Honey 40ml, also in a handy travel size as Honey 15ml travelsize. The universal neutral Blemish Balm Classic 40ml suits almost every skin tone and is also available as a Classic 15ml travelsize. For light, redness-prone skin, the Blemish Balm Light 40ml with a cool undertone was developed. For darker skin, the Blemish Balm Dark Brown 40ml offers a deep rich shade without an ashy effect, also as a targeted spot treatment in Dark Brown 15ml travelsize. For those who want all the caring power without color pigments — think men, night use, or very light skin — the Blemish Balm Snow 40ml offers a fully transparent variant.

How to create your personal Regulating routine?

Start with the basics — a cleanser, a toner, and a day cream — and expand from there. For mild impurities, a simple routine of cleanser, toner, and Special Regulating Cream is often sufficient. For active acne, add the Clear Skin Silver Fluid as a targeted treatment. For stubborn impurities or hormonal fluctuations, expand with the Gel Super Purifiant or the Impurity Control Ampul as a 7-day treatment. Weekly use of the Black Clearing Mask or the Enzyme Regulating Cream & Peeling keeps pores clear.

Frequently asked questions

For what age is the Dr Schrammek Regulating line suitable?

The line is developed for impure skin at any age. Products like the Clear Skin Silver Fluid are primarily aimed at younger skin with active acne, while the Purifying Vital Balm is specifically developed for mature skin with impurities. The basic routine with cleanser, toner, and Special Regulating Cream works for all ages between 15 and 60 years.

Can I combine products from the Regulating line with other Schrammek lines?

Yes, the Schrammek lines are developed to be combined. Many users, for example, combine the Regulating cleanser with a serum from the Mela White line for pigmentation treatment, or add a product from the Sensitive Care line in the evening when the skin needs extra calming.

How long does it take to see results?

With consistent use, you typically see visible improvement in skin texture and radiance within two to four weeks. The reduction of pigmentation spots after pimples takes longer — expect six weeks to three months for lasting results. The Impurity Control Ampul offers accelerated results within seven days.

Are the products suitable for sensitive skin?

Most products in the Regulating line are dermatologically tested for skin tolerance. The Enzyme Regulating Cream & Peeling is especially suitable for sensitive skin that cannot tolerate acids. For very sensitive skin, avoid products with alcohol or camphor such as the Gel Super Purifiant, and instead choose milder alternatives from the line.
