Dr Schrammek Time Control & Ageless Future

Anti-aging routine for every stage of skin aging

The Vitality line from Dr Schrammek is one of the most thoughtfully designed anti-aging series in professional skincare. Two complete sub-lines work alongside each other, each tailored to a different stage of skin aging: Ageless Future as an entry point for the first signs of aging from around 30 years old, and Time Control as a premium top line for mature, demanding skin from 40 to 45 years old.

Both lines share the same scientific foundation: active ingredients such as Bakuchiol, Matrixyl 3000, Vitanol BIO, vitamin A, and high-dose peptides, combined with nourishing plant oils and concentrated hyaluronic acid. Supplemented with the renewed Global Age Defense+ Cream SPF30 as the final morning step, you get a complete anti-aging routine with integrated light protection. On this page, you will find the full Time Control and Ageless Future routine, with usage order and recommendations per skin stage.

Why choose the Dr Schrammek Vitality line?

Dr Schrammek is originally a German dermatological skincare brand that has been used for decades by skin therapists and beauticians throughout Europe. The Vitality line — consisting of Ageless Future and Time Control — stands out due to the combination of clinically proven anti-aging actives and a carefully composed formulation without mineral oil, parabens, silicones, or PEG emulsifiers. All products are vegan and the packaging is climate-neutral.

The difference with other anti-aging series lies in the layered approach: instead of one cream with all active ingredients, the routines are built from multiple products that enhance each other. A serum delivers concentrated actives, the cream provides protection and hydration, ampoules give a periodic boost, and specific products like eye cream and décolleté cream target vulnerable areas specifically. An SPF-containing day cream as the last step protects all these actives from light-induced breakdown.

Find your ideal anti-aging routine

The choice between Ageless Future and Time Control depends on your skin age and skin needs. For skin with the first signs of aging — fine lines, beginning loss of elasticity, skin that slowly becomes duller — Ageless Future is the right choice. This line works with Bakuchiol as a gentle retinol alternative and Olea VitaePLF for cellular renewal.

For mature, demanding skin with deeper lines, pigmentation spots, and visible loss of firmness, Time Control offers a more intensive solution. This premium line contains high-dose vitamin C, Matrixyl 3000, and peptide complexes that work on a deeper level.

Both lines can also be combined — for example, the Ageless Future Day Cream during the day for maintenance and the Time Control Night Cream at night for intensive repair. A skin therapist can advise which combination suits your skin.

How to use the Ageless Future routine

The Ageless Future line forms a complete daily anti-aging routine for skin in the early stage of aging. The correct order is essential — actives must be applied in the right hierarchy so they enhance each other instead of interfering.

Step 1: Cleansing Always start with a thorough cleansing to remove makeup, sebum, and daily dirt.

Step 2: Ampoule treatment (periodic) When using the Age Refine Ampoules as a 7-day treatment, apply these first on cleansed skin. Iris Florentina isoflavones, Liftonin, and low-molecular-weight hyaluronic acid penetrate deepest into the skin and therefore deserve the first position. You can use the ampoules two to four times a year as a seasonal treatment.

Step 3: Serum The Ageless Future Serum follows the ampoule or is applied directly after cleansing on "regular" days. With NioHA Lab Technology — an encapsulated form of hyaluronic acid — Bakuchiol and Olea VitaePLF, this serum works deep into the skin. Apply twice daily for best results.

Step 4a: Morning cream The Ageless Future Day Cream is the first care applied to the face in the morning. With Bakuchiol, Olea VitaePLF, and hyaluronic acid in a velvety soft texture.

Step 4b: Evening cream In the evening, replace the Day Cream with the Ageless Future Night Cream, a richer formula with Marula oil and Saccharide Isomerate for 72 hours of hydration and cellular repair during sleep.

Step 5: Décolleté Continue with the ReFirm Décolleté Cream on the neck and décolleté — an area with thinner skin and specific needs. With Adipofill'in lipo-filling and Cellactive Form for firmness from within.

Step 6: SPF protection (morning only) Always finish the morning routine with the Global Age Defense+ Cream SPF30. This renewed day cream — successor to the old Global Defense SPF20 — protects not only against UVA and UVB but also against infrared and blue light through the LightWaves Defense complex. This keeps the active ingredients in your routine protected from light-induced breakdown.

Step 7: Mask (once or twice a week) The Revitalan Mask is a weekly intensive treatment with Matrixyl 3000, macadamia nut oil, and milk thistle oil. Leave on for fifteen to twenty minutes, then remove any residue with a tissue.

How to use the Time Control routine

The Time Control routine is more intensive and contains actives that are gradually introduced to the skin. For those new to retinol or peptides, we recommend starting with evening use and building up to daily use.

Step 1: Cleansing Cleanse thoroughly morning and evening — essential for the absorption of actives that follow.

Step 2: Ampoule treatment (periodic) The Time Control Intense Lifting Ampoules are premium 2-phase ampoules with Syn-Ake (botox-like effect), Matrixyl synthe'6, and Vitanol BIO. Usable as a 7-day treatment, two to four times a year for mature skin from 45 years old. Shake the ampoule briefly to combine the phases, break open with the included opener.

Step 3a: Evening essence (evening only) The Time Control RetiNight Essence is for evening use only. With Vitanol BIO and mild Retinyl Palmitate, this clinically proven essence stimulates cell renewal during the night. Clinical studies show 26% less wrinkle depth.

Step 3b: Serum (morning and evening) The Time Control Serum is a concentrated daily serum with stabilized vitamin C and Matrixyl 3000. In the morning, vitamin C reduces pigmentation spots and enhances the effect of SPF. On evenings without RetiNight Essence, you can also apply the Time Control Serum in the evening.

Step 4: Eye cream The Time Control Eye Cream is specially developed for the multiple challenges of mature eye contours: crow’s feet, puffiness, and dark circles. With Aquapront, Matrixyl 3000, and Hesperidin Methyl Chalcone. Gently tap in twice daily with the ring finger.

Step 5a: Morning cream The Time Control Day Cream locks in the active ingredients with Matrixyl 3000, niacinamide, gentle retinol, and nourishing plant oils.

Step 5b: Evening cream The Time Control Night Cream is unique due to carnosine — an ingredient with anti-glycation effects that prevents sugar molecules from binding to collagen. It maximizes nighttime skin renewal.

Step 6: SPF protection (morning only) Also in the Time Control routine, the Global Age Defense+ Cream SPF30 is the final morning step. For mature skin, protection against the full light spectrum — UVA, UVB, infrared, and blue light — is essential to maintain the effects of vitamin C, retinol, and peptides. Without SPF, these actives break down faster under light exposure.

Step 7: Décolleté & mask In the Time Control routine, you can also integrate the ReFirm Décolleté Cream and the Revitalan Mask — both products fit perfectly within the Vitality routine and are not specifically tied to either sub-line.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the difference between Ageless Future and Time Control?

Ageless Future is the entry-level anti-aging line, developed for the first signs of aging from around 30 years old. The line works with Bakuchiol as a gentle retinol alternative and Olea VitaePLF. Time Control is the premium top line for demanding, mature skin from 40 to 45 years old, with more intensive actives such as high-dose vitamin C, Matrixyl 3000, vitamin A, carnosine, and peptide complexes.

Can I combine both lines in one routine?

Yes, and this is a common choice among skin therapists. For example, Ageless Future Serum in the morning for maintenance and Time Control Night Cream in the evening for more intensive repair. Or Time Control Eye Cream for the eye contour and Ageless Future products for the rest of the face. A professional can advise which combination suits your specific skin needs.

Why a separate SPF cream besides the Day Cream?

The Ageless Future and Time Control Day Creams do not contain sun protection. This choice is deliberate: sunscreens in a care cream would compromise the concentration of anti-aging actives. The Global Age Defense+ Cream SPF30 is specifically developed as a final step with broad-spectrum light protection — not only against UV but also against infrared and blue light from screens. This keeps the active ingredients in your routine optimally protected from light-induced breakdown.

How often per year should I use an ampoule treatment?

Dr Schrammek recommends using a 7-day treatment two to four times a year — for example, during seasonal changes, after a busy period, or before a special occasion. Between treatments, your daily serums and creams continue to deliver actives to maintain the achieved result.

Which products can I combine with retinol from other brands?

Bakuchiol from Ageless Future and Vitanol BIO from Time Control are gentler than classic retinol and can be safely combined with other actives. For those using traditional retinol: do not combine it on the same evening with RetiNight Essence or Time Control Day Cream (which also contains retinyl palmitate) to avoid overloading the skin barrier. Alternate the evenings.

Are these products suitable for sensitive skin?

Yes, most Vitality products are also suitable for sensitive skin because Dr Schrammek deliberately chooses milder actives such as Bakuchiol and Vitanol BIO instead of classic retinol. For those who react very sensitively: build up slowly and start with every other evening use. The Revitalan Mask and Ageless Future products are generally best tolerated.
