Creamy concealer in 4 shades with a matching color corrector

A concealer determines to a large extent how fresh and even the eye area looks. It camouflages dark circles, discoloration and small imperfections, and with the right shade you look well cared for without feeling like you are wearing a layer of product. A creamy concealer in a compact is extra handy, because you can touch it up exactly when you need it.

The Youngblood Ultimate Concealer is available at Glam Skin in 4 shades: Fair, Medium, Medium Tan and Tan. The creamy, lightweight formula is buildable from medium to full coverage, reflects light and, according to Youngblood, is designed not to settle into fine lines. For blue or purple discoloration or a dull area, start with the Youngblood Ultimate Corrector, a color corrector with a peach and a yellow shade that is also part of this collection.

Why choose the Youngblood Ultimate Concealer?

The concealer gives buildable coverage: you start with a thin layer for a natural finish and build up where you need more coverage. Jojoba seed oil and allantoin keep the skin around the eyes comfortable, and you can easily take the 2.8 g compact in your bag.

  • Creamy, lightweight formula with buildable coverage from medium to full
  • Camouflages dark circles, discoloration and imperfections
  • Light-reflecting for a fresh, even look
  • Designed not to settle into fine lines
  • Nourishing ingredients such as jojoba seed oil, allantoin, vitamin C and honeysuckle flower extract
  • Suitable for all skin types, according to Youngblood

Find your ideal shade

The four shades differ in depth and undertone. According to Youngblood, three shades have a cool undertone and one has a warm undertone. For under the eyes, choose the shade that is close to your skin tone or slightly lighter.

Cool undertone:

  • Fair — very light, soft pink beige; the lightest shade
  • Medium — light peach beige, the middle shade between Fair and Medium Tan
  • Medium Tan — deeper peach beige for skin with a little more depth

Warm undertone:

  • Tan — golden beige, the deepest shade

When do you choose the Ultimate Corrector?

The Youngblood Ultimate Corrector is a color corrector with two shades in one compact. According to Youngblood, the peach shade neutralizes dark or blue-toned discoloration, such as bluish dark circles. The yellow shade brightens dull areas and balances red and purple tones. You apply the corrector first and then finish with your concealer shade.

How do you use concealer and corrector?

  1. Use the YB10 Complete Concealer Luxe Brush to pick up a small amount of product from the compact
  2. Do you have blue or purple discoloration or a dull area? Start with the Ultimate Corrector and tap it in only on that spot
  3. Apply the concealer under the eyes, in the inner corners and on imperfections you want to camouflage
  4. Blend with soft tapping motions for seamless coverage
  5. Build up in thin layers if you want more coverage

Frequently asked questions

How do I choose between the four shades?

First look at the depth of your skin and then at the undertone. Fair, Medium and Medium Tan have a cool undertone and increase in depth; Tan is golden beige with a warm undertone. If in daylight your skin looks more pink or peach, choose from the first three; if it looks more golden yellow, Tan suits you better.

Do I need a corrector in addition to the concealer?

You don't have to, but it can help with a pronounced color in the discoloration. A concealer in your skin tone camouflages, while a corrector first neutralizes the color of the discoloration. Youngblood recommends layering your shade of Ultimate Concealer over it after the color correction.

Does the concealer settle into fine lines?

Youngblood designed the concealer not to settle into fine lines. You can help by starting with a small amount, tapping it in and building coverage in thin layers.

Which brush should I use for concealer and corrector?

Youngblood recommends the YB10 Complete Concealer Luxe Brush for both the concealer and the corrector. You pick up just as much product as you need and blend with tapping motions, even in the inner corners of the eyes.

Which skin type is the Ultimate Concealer meant for?

According to Youngblood, the Ultimate Concealer, like the Ultimate Corrector, is suitable for all skin types. The nourishing ingredients, such as jojoba seed oil and allantoin, keep the texture comfortable even on the drier skin around the eyes.
