Massada Essential Oils

Essential oils and fragrance essences for aromatherapy, skincare, and wellness

Essential oils are concentrated plant extracts that work through both scent and skin — each with its own character, application, and effect on body and mind. The Massada Essential Oils collection brings together fourteen carefully selected oils and fragrance essences, ranging from powerful skin oils for acne and hair growth to delicate floral essences for relaxation and meditation.

All oils in this collection are concentrated and intended for use in a diffuser, diluted in a carrier oil, or as a targeted addition to skincare. They come in a convenient 15ml bottle — compact, pure, and versatile for any wellness or beauty routine.

Why choose essential oils?

Essential oils work through two pathways simultaneously: through the sense of smell, they activate the limbic system — the part of the brain that regulates emotions, memories, and mood — and through the skin, active components contribute to direct skin benefits. This makes essential oils unique among care products: they offer both a sensory and a functional effect, depending on the chosen oil and application.

Find your ideal essential oil

The fourteen Massada Essential Oils are divided into four profiles based on purpose and effect.

Skincare and skin repair: The Massada Tea Tree Essential Oil 15ml is the most targeted skin oil in the collection — rich in terpinen-4-ol for antimicrobial action against acne and impurities. The Massada Patchouly Essential Oil 15ml offers anti-inflammatory and regenerating effects through patchoulol, ideal for mature or irritated skin. The Massada Niauli Essential Oil 15ml tones the skin and stimulates circulation when used diluted.

Hair and scalp: The Massada Rosemary Essential Oil 15ml supports hair growth and scalp health through improved microcirculation — one of the best-researched uses of essential oils. The Massada Thyme Essential Oil 15ml enhances this profile with thymol and acts as a powerful hair tonic for thinning hair or an impure scalp.

Energy, freshness, and circulation: The Massada Lemon Essential Oil 15ml provides immediate mental clarity and energy through limonene — preferably during the day in a diffuser. The Massada Orange Essential Oil 15ml shares that energizing citrus profile but is warmer and milder, with a regenerating effect on the skin. The Massada Cinnamon Essential Oil 15ml stimulates and warms through cinnamal — for those needing a powerful uplifting, spicy aroma. The Massada Thyme Essential Oil 15ml completes this profile with its toning and revitalizing effect on skin and mind.

Relaxation, balance, and wellness: The Massada Lavender Essential Oil 15ml is the most versatile calming oil — scientifically supported for relaxation, sleep support, and skin soothing. The Massada Verbain Essential Oil offers a balancing intermediate effect: neither overwhelmingly stimulating nor heavily sedative — ideal for daytime. For the most delicate calming, choose the Massada Violet Essential Oil 15ml — subtly powdery floral, favored by those who prefer less intense scents.

Luxury floral essences: The Massada Absolute Rose Essential Oil 15ml is the premium oil of the collection — a rich rose absolute fragrance essence with citronellol, geraniol, and farnesol for balsamic skincare and an intense rose experience. The Massada Orchid Essential Oil 15ml offers a floral holistic experience focused on vitality and inner balance. The Massada Aloe Vera Essential Oil 15ml completes the range with a soft, accessible fragrance essence that soothes sensitive and irritated skin.

How to use essential oils?

1. Choose the oil that fits your goal: skincare, hair growth, relaxation, energy, or atmosphere
2. Use in a diffuser by adding 3 to 5 drops to an aroma diffuser with water — never heat undiluted
3. Always dilute for skin use in a carrier oil such as jojoba or sweet almond oil: maximum 1 to 2% concentration (1 drop per 5 ml carrier oil)
4. Add 1 to 2 drops to a portion of cream, shampoo, or body lotion for daily use as an aromatic supplement
5. For use in the bath, always mix first with bath milk or base oil — never add undiluted directly to bathwater
6. Store all oils in a cool, dark place, tightly closed, out of reach of children, and preferably use within 12 months after opening

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the difference between an essential oil and a fragrance essence in this collection?

Classic essential oils — such as lavender, rosemary, tea tree, and thyme — are obtained by steam distillation from plant material and contain active botanical components. Some products in this collection are fragrance essences: composed aroma blends that mimic the scent of a plant that does not have a distillable oil (such as violets, aloe vera, orchid, and rose). The manufacturer therefore calls these products "esencia" instead of "aceite esencial." Both are versatile, but their mechanisms of action on the skin differ.

Can I combine essential oils in the diffuser?

Yes, combining oils in the diffuser is one of the most accessible uses. Some classic combinations: lavender + lemon for fresh calm, rosemary + thyme for a spicy-energetic blend, or rose absolute + patchouli for a warm, luxurious scent. Start with a total of 4 to 6 drops and adjust the ratio to personal preference.

Are essential oils safe for use on the face?

Most oils are safe for facial use when properly diluted (maximum 1%, so 1 drop per 5 ml carrier oil). Exceptions are stronger oils like cinnamon and thyme, which deserve a maximum 0.5% concentration on the face. Always test first on a small area. Lemon and other citrus oils are phototoxic — avoid daytime skin use or use only in the evening.

Are these oils also suitable for use during pregnancy?

Several oils in this collection — including cinnamon, rosemary, thyme, and verbena — are not recommended during pregnancy due to their stimulating effects or camphor content. Lavender in the diffuser is generally considered relatively safe, but even then: always consult a midwife or doctor before using essential oils during pregnancy.
