Alpha-H Clear Skin Tonic 100ml

Description
Exfoliating tonic with 2% salicylic acid and niacinamide
Oily, shiny skin with clogged pores and recurring blemishes occurs when excess sebum mixes with dead skin cells deep in the pore. Regular cleansers often only work on the surface, while the real problem develops beneath the skin. The result: blackheads, pimples, and a rough skin texture that keep recurring.
The Alpha-H Clear Skin Tonic penetrates deep into pores with 2% salicylic acid, an oil-soluble BHA, to clear sebum and debris from within. The renewed formula is enriched with niacinamide, which regulates sebum production and strengthens the skin barrier — without drying out or stripping the skin.
Benefits
- Cleanses pores from within and reduces blackheads and impurities
- Regulates sebum production for a matte, balanced complexion
- Visibly refines pores and smooths skin texture
- Soothes redness and irritation around active blemishes
- Suitable for both face and problem areas on the body
- Vegan, cruelty-free, and formulated at pH 3.6 - 4.0 for optimal effectiveness
Active ingredients
2% Salicylic Acid (BHA): An oil-soluble beta hydroxy acid that works through the sebum in pores to dissolve dead skin cells, sebum, and debris. Due to its lipophilic structure, salicylic acid penetrates deeper than AHAs, making it the gold standard for treating blackheads, comedones, and blemish-prone skin.
Niacinamide (Vitamin B3): Regulates sebum production, visibly reduces pore size, and strengthens the skin barrier. Additionally, niacinamide inhibits pigment transfer to skin cells, helping to fade post-inflammatory discoloration after pimples.
Thyme & Tea Tree Extract: A plant-based combination with natural antibacterial properties that contribute to a clearer complexion. Tea tree is known for its effect on blemish-prone skin and helps reduce the visibility of impurities.
Arnica Flower Extract: A traditional ingredient with soothing properties that helps reduce redness and irritation around active pimples.
Eucalyptus: Refreshing and purifying, supports the tonic’s effect on oily and congested skin and provides a cooling sensation during application.

Frequently asked questions
What is the difference between salicylic acid and glycolic acid?
Salicylic acid is oil-soluble and works deep inside the pores, ideal for oily and blemish-prone skin. Glycolic acid is water-soluble and works on the skin surface, suitable for dull and uneven skin. For blemishes and clogged pores, salicylic acid is the first choice.
Can I combine Clear Skin Tonic with Liquid Gold?
Alternate both products on different days. Salicylic acid and glycolic acid together can be too intense and irritate the skin barrier. For example, use Clear Skin Tonic on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, and Liquid Gold on Tuesday and Thursday.
Why is this product not suitable during pregnancy?
Salicylic acid is not recommended during pregnancy and breastfeeding due to its structural similarity to aspirin. During these periods, choose a milder exfoliant such as a PHA tonic or mild enzymes.
Does this tonic also work against blemishes on the back and shoulders?
Yes. Salicylic acid is especially suitable for blemishes on the body, particularly in areas where sweat and sebum production are higher. Apply with a cotton pad or the Body Mist applicator to the affected areas.
