Description
Artisanal cleansing soap with activated charcoal for all skin types
Good cleansing is the foundation of any skincare routine. Yet many cleansers interfere with the skin barrier using sulfates and synthetic substances that damage the natural lipid layer. The result: tight, thirsty skin that produces more sebum or loses its resilience.
Ayuna Soap is an artisanal soap, cold saponified according to a traditional Mediterranean process that preserves all the properties of the vegetable oils. The combination of borage, olive, and coconut oils cleanses the skin creamy and softly, while activated plant charcoal attracts and holds impurities, sebum, and toxins deep in the pores. The result is refined, comfortable skin with a natural radiant glow.
Benefits
- Cleanses deeply and refines pores without damaging the skin barrier
- Attracts impurities, excess sebum, and toxins thanks to activated plant charcoal
- Nourishes and soothes the skin with borage, olive, and coconut oils
- Thoroughly removes makeup, including around the eyes and lips
- Three application forms in one bar: creamy, foaming, or as micellar water
Active ingredients
Activated plant charcoal: A natural detoxifier with a porous structure that acts like a magnet on the skin. It binds impurities, environmental pollution, and excess sebum in the pores and rinses them away easily with water, for deeply cleansed skin without drying out.
Borage oil (Borage Officinalis): Rich in gamma-linolenic acid, an essential omega-6 fatty acid that nourishes and strengthens the skin barrier. Borage oil soothes the skin and helps with dryness and sensitivity, keeping the cleansing gentle.
Olive oil: A Mediterranean classic rich in oleic acid and antioxidants such as vitamin E. Olive oil nourishes the skin during cleansing and maintains natural suppleness without leaving a greasy film.
Coconut oil: Provides the typical creamy foam structure of the soap and has a mild antibacterial effect. The medium-chain fatty acids support the skin barrier and leave a pleasantly soft feeling after rinsing.
Natural glycerin: A natural byproduct of the cold saponification process (at least 7 to 8 percent in this formula). This plant-based glycerin attracts moisture and holds it in the skin, so the soap never leaves a tight feeling.
How to use it
- Briefly moisten the soap bar between wet hands and activate it in the desired way
- For a creamy cleanse: rub the soap between your hands to a cream and gently massage over face, neck, and décolleté
- For a foaming cleanse on oily skin: activate with a brush or sponge to a creamy foam and massage in
- For a watery cleansing around eyes and lips: mix with plenty of water to a micellar fluid and apply with a cotton pad
- Rinse thoroughly with lukewarm water, pat dry, and follow with a toner or serum
Suitable for

Frequently asked questions
How long does a bar of Ayuna Soap last?
With daily use on the face and neck, the 80 gram bar lasts on average two to three months. Store the soap between uses on a draining soap dish so it retains its structure longer.
Is this soap also suitable for dry or sensitive skin?
Yes, precisely because of the cold saponification process, the natural glycerin in the soap is preserved. This attracts moisture and ensures that the skin does not dry out after cleansing, even with sensitive or dry skin conditions.
Can I also use Ayuna Soap for the body?
Yes, although the soap is specially developed for the face, it can also be used on the body. Especially on areas with impurities such as the back and chest, the black charcoal works detoxifying.
What is cold saponification and why is it better?
Cold saponification is a traditional process without heat, which keeps all the active properties of the oils intact. Additionally, less water is used and the soap retains a high content of natural glycerin, for a gentler cleansing.
