DermaQuest Essential Cleanser 177,4ml

Mild daily cleanser with papaya and pineapple enzymes

Healthy skin starts with a cleanser that purifies without burdening. Many cleansers strip the skin of its natural protective layer, leading to tightness, dryness, and eventually a compromised skin barrier. A good daily cleanser does the opposite: it removes makeup, sebum, and environmental pollutants, leaving the skin soft, hydrated, and balanced.

The DermaQuest Essential Cleanser combines plant-based cleansers with natural fruit enzymes from papaya and pineapple for a gentle, daily cleanse. The enzymes exfoliate mild dead skin cells, while aloe vera and grape seed extract soothe and protect the skin from free radicals. The result is a fresh, smooth, and radiant complexion optimally prepared for the next steps in your routine.

Benefits

• Mild enzymatic exfoliation with papaya and pineapple for a smoother skin texture
• Cleanses thoroughly without disrupting or drying out the skin barrier
• Soothes visible redness and sensitivity thanks to aloe vera
• Protects against free radicals with antioxidants from grape seed extract
• Suitable for daily morning and evening use on all skin types

Active ingredients

Papaya and pineapple enzymes: These natural fruit enzymes, papain and bromelain, gently break down the protein bonds between dead skin cells. Unlike a mechanical scrub, they work without irritating the skin, leaving it immediately smoother and more radiant without redness.

Aloe barbadensis leaf juice: Aloe vera is known for its soothing, hydrating, and anti-inflammatory properties. It supports the skin barrier, reduces redness, and provides a pleasant soothing sensation during cleansing — ideal for sensitive or stressed skin.

Grape seed extract: A powerful antioxidant rich in polyphenols that protects the skin from damage caused by free radicals, pollution, and UV stress. It also supports the blood vessels under the skin, contributing to a healthier and more radiant appearance.

Plant-based surfactants: Instead of harsh sulfates, this cleanser uses gentle, plant-based cleansing agents like cocamidopropyl hydroxysultaine. These bind impurities without stripping moisture from the skin, leaving it feeling comfortable after cleansing.

Glycerin: A humectant that draws water to the upper skin layers and holds it there. This keeps the skin optimally hydrated during and after cleansing, without the tight feeling many cleansers leave behind.

Frequently asked questions

Can I use this cleanser if I have sensitive skin?

Yes. The formula contains no harsh sulfates and is built around soothing ingredients like aloe vera. The fruit enzymes also work much gentler than a mechanical scrub, so sensitive skin benefits from daily use as well.

How often per day can I use the Essential Cleanser?

Twice a day, morning and evening. The formula is mild enough for daily use and does not disrupt the skin barrier, even with long-term use.

Does this cleanser replace a separate exfoliant or peel?

Not entirely. The papaya and pineapple enzymes provide gentle daily exfoliation, but for deeper skin renewal, a separate enzyme peel or AHA/BHA treatment can still be valuable. Ask your skin therapist for advice on a tailored routine.
