DermaQuest DermaClear

Skincare routine for acne-prone and impure skin

The DermaQuest DermaClear collection is a complete skincare line for acne-prone, impure, and combination skin. From gentle daily cleansers to targeted spot treatments and night serums with multiple acids — every product in this collection is formulated to address pimples, blackheads, and post-inflammatory pigmentation without weakening the skin barrier.

Impure skin rarely arises from a single cause. Excess sebum production, clogged pores, acne-causing bacteria, and inflammation all play a role. The DermaClear collection offers a suitable product for every stage of this cycle, with a common thread of mild but proven active ingredients such as mandelic acid, salicylic acid, glycolic acid, lactic acid, azelaic acid, and niacinamide.

Why choose the DermaClear collection?

The products within DermaClear are developed based on clinical knowledge of acne-prone skin. Instead of aggressive drying formulas, DermaQuest combines active acids with hydrating and soothing ingredients like aloe vera, hyaluronic acid, panthenol, and plant stem cells. The result is a routine that visibly works on pimples and pigmentation while keeping the skin barrier intact.

The collection is also modular: a daily cleanser and serum form the base, while exfoliating cleansers, pads, a mask, and spot treatment are used as needed. This way, you build a routine that fits your skin and its specific challenges.

Find your ideal DermaClear product

For acne-prone skin with daily breakouts: Start with the basics using the DermaClear Cleanser as your daily cleanser and the Advanced DermaClear Serum as your night treatment. Add a targeted BHA Spot Treatment for unexpected inflamed pimples.

For oily skin with clogged pores and blackheads: The BHA Cleanser with 2% salicylic acid is the targeted approach here. Combine it three times a week with the DermaClear Cleanser as your daily cleanser and strengthen weekly with the DermaClear Mask.

For dull skin with post-inflammatory pigmentation: The Glyco Gel Cleanser with 15% glycolic acid and the Universal Clarifying Pads with multiple acids work together for a brighter complexion and fading spots.

For oily combination skin seeking hydration without shine: The B5 Moisture Matte provides intensive hydration through 30% hyaluronic acid and panthenol with a mattifying finish, ideal as the final step.

How to use the DermaClear collection?

1. Cleanse morning and evening with the DermaClear Cleanser as your daily basic cleanser
2. Alternate two to three evenings per week with an active cleanser such as the BHA Cleanser for blackheads or the Glyco Gel Cleanser for dull skin and pigmentation
3. Use the Universal Clarifying Pads twice a week in the evening as an intensive exfoliating step on clean skin
4. Apply a few drops of B5 Moisture Matte daily as a hydrating serum, morning or evening
5. Apply a thin layer of Advanced DermaClear Serum every evening as the main treatment against pimples and pigmentation
6. Use the BHA Spot Treatment directly on active, inflamed pimples
7. Strengthen weekly with the DermaClear Mask as a soothing, deep-cleansing treatment
8. Always finish in the morning with sun protection, as many active ingredients in this collection make the skin more sensitive to sunlight

Frequently Asked Questions

Who is the DermaClear collection suitable for?

The collection is developed for acne-prone, oily, and combination skin of all ages. Adults with hormonal acne and post-inflammatory pigmentation also find suitable products here. Sensitive skin can also use the collection, provided it is introduced gradually starting with the milder products.

Can I include all products in my routine at once?

Not all on the same day. The collection contains several active products that should not be layered. Alternate active evenings with recovery evenings where you use hydrating products. When in doubt, it is wise to build a routine with a skin therapist.

Can I combine DermaClear products with retinol?

Not on the same evening as another active. Retinol and the acids in DermaClear both actively promote cell renewal, and stacking them increases the risk of irritation. Alternate active evenings within your weekly schedule.

Are these products safe during pregnancy?

Many products in the DermaClear collection contain salicylic acid, glycolic acid, azelaic acid, or retinyl derivatives in active concentrations. These are usually not recommended during pregnancy and breastfeeding. Always consult your skin therapist or doctor before continuing the routine.
