Jane Iredale Amazing Base Mineral Powder SPF20 Latte 10,5g

Mineral powder foundation SPF20 for warm, coffee-brown skin tones

There is a skin tone that embodies the perfect balance between light and deep, between gold and brown — the warm, creamy medium skin tone that often falls between the cracks in foundation ranges. Too light for the deeper shades, too warm for the lighter range: those with a coffee-with-milk skin color with soft warm undertones know the frustration of formulas that just don’t quite fit.

The Jane Iredale Amazing Base Latte offers exactly what is needed for that skin tone: a micronized mineral formula that fully maintains and visually deepens the creamy warmth of a medium skin tone. From a light daily veil to full evening coverage — the powder adapts without overpowering the skin’s natural color, while titanium dioxide and zinc oxide protect it with broad spectrum SPF20.

Color: A warm, creamy coffee-brown shade with soft golden undertones, for a medium to medium-deep skin tone with a creamy warm base.

Benefits

• Seamless match for the warm, creamy coffee-brown medium skin tone that is hard to find
• Broad spectrum SPF20 protection with titanium dioxide (14%) and zinc oxide (6%)
• Luminous, silky finish that visually deepens the rich warmth of the skin tone
• Soft focus effect minimizes visible pores and fine lines without flattening color depth
• Water-resistant up to 40 minutes, vegan, and free from synthetic sunscreens

Active Ingredients

Titanium Dioxide (14%): On a warm medium skin tone, titanium dioxide offers broad UVA and UVB protection without disturbing the creamy color depth. The finely milled mineral reflects light in a way that subtly complements the warmth of the skin tone — for a finish that looks rich and radiant without overdoing the shine.

Zinc Oxide (6%): Provides additional protection and has a soothing effect on the skin. For a warm medium skin tone that may be prone to light pigmentation from chronic irritation, the calming effect of zinc oxide is a valuable part of daily skin protection.

Boron Nitride: The soft, silky texture of Boron Nitride gives the skin a velvety, creamy quality that literally reflects the name Latte. It diffuses light evenly across the skin surface for a finish that feels soft and refined — like a second skin.

Algae extract: A hydrated skin shows warm undertones more vividly and richly. Algae extract actively preserves the skin’s moisture while the powder is worn, preventing a flat or dry finish and keeping the creamy warmth of this shade alive all day.

Pomegranate extract (Punica Granatum): For a medium skin tone with a warm base, an even skin texture is essential to optimally show color depth. Pomegranate extract actively protects against UV-related oxidative damage that affects skin texture and tone over time.

Plankton extract: Strengthens the skin barrier and supports an even, clear skin tone in the long term. A strong barrier contributes to an even complexion that fully brings out the rich, creamy color of the Latte shade.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I know if Latte matches my skin tone or if I should choose Amber or Caramel?

The Jane Iredale Amazing Base Latte suits a medium to medium-deep skin tone with creamy, warm coffee-brown undertones. Amber is lighter with more gold, Caramel is deeper and redder in character. When in doubt, Jane Iredale offers a 100% color guarantee.

Does a powder foundation on a medium skin tone quickly give a dry, powdery look?

Not with this formula. The micronized mineral formula with algae extract actively preserves the skin's moisture, while Boron Nitride provides a creamy, silky finish. Always apply a moisturizing day cream as a base and finish with a hydration spray for a radiant, vibrant finish.

Is this powder also suitable if my skin has pigmentation spots?

Yes. The Amazing Base offers adjustable coverage from light to full, allowing targeted evening out of pigmentation spots. Use the Flat Eye Brush for precise application on problem areas, then finish with the Powder Complexion Brush for an even finish across the entire face.
