What does the W in 3W mean?
The W stands for warm undertone, as opposed to N for neutral. Unsure about your undertone? Look at the veins on the inside of your wrist. If they appear green, you have a warm or olive undertone and a W shade suits you. If they look more blue or purple, you have a cool/neutral undertone and an N shade is better.
How do I choose between Jane Iredale PureMatch 3W and 1W or 4N?
3W is clearly warmer and darker than 1W (fair with a warm golden undertone). Compared to 4N, 3W is almost as light, but 4N has a neutral undertone while 3W is distinctly warm-gold. Choose 3W if your light skin has a pronounced golden glow. Choose 4N if your skin is slightly darker and neutral.
Can I use Jane Iredale PureMatch 3W under the eyes as well?
Yes. Unlike the color-correcting concealers (Enlighten, Circle Delete), PureMatch is an all-over concealer suitable for the entire face. For dark circles with a strong blue undertone, a color-correcting concealer (such as Circle Delete 2 or Enlighten Concealer 1) can be applied first, followed by PureMatch 3W for a matching finish.
Does PureMatch contain SPF?
No, PureMatch Liquid Concealer does not contain SPF. For UV protection, Jane Iredale recommends finishing with Powder-Me SPF or an SPF foundation, or wearing a separate sunscreen.
Is the concealer vegan?
Yes, PureMatch Liquid Concealer is completely vegan, gluten-free, and cruelty-free. Unlike the Enlighten Concealer and Circle Delete, this formula contains no beeswax.
